American Association of Woodturners
Who We Are:
The Orange County Woodturners (OCW) is a 'spinoff' group of the Orange County Woodworkers, located in Orange County, California.
Our purpose is to provide a forum for OCWA members and guests who have an interest in woodturning.
Along with our parent organization, the Orange County Woodworkers Association, the Orange County Woodturners is dedicated to bringing some happiness to underprivileged children in Orange County, California through the annual Christmas Toy program. Last year our members produced a record 4300 hand-crafted wooden toys that were distributed to local charities. This year's goal - 4500!
Our goal is to share a mutual enjoyment of woodturning, educate and perhaps even inspire, but most of all to have fun and not take ourselves too seriously.
Our meetings are open to anyone who wishes to participate. Membership in OCWA is encouraged if you enjoy your visit with us. Oh yeah, we have coffee and cookies, too!
